Responsible gambling

Parsha International LTD (reg. Number: 193173), based in Kampala (hereinafter: ChampionBet), as a socially responsible company, takes special care of its players and actively participates in the comprehensive raising of awareness of responsible gambling. We motivate all our players and advise them to have fun as their main motive for gambling, to invest only money they can afford and to limit their finances thoughtfully for those purposes. Through this document, we want to explain and raise even more awareness of this serious problem. Many people consider sports betting to be just fun, while others perceive the above as a very serious way of earning a living, and it is those people who take betting as a serious way of earning money who are considered professional bookmakers.

GAMBLING AS A PROBLEM

PLAYER PROTECTION AND RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING

Gambling should be understood as fun, not as a way to make safe money! Keep track of the amount of money you spend on gambling and bet only with the money you can afford to lose!

1. Don’t try to recoup your losses!

2. Take care of the time you spend gambling!

3. Never gamble/bet above the amount you have previously set.

4. Regardless of whether you win or lose, be sure to stop gambling/betting when you reach the amount you previously set for your stake in the game.

5. Never gamble/bet if it exhausts you financially. If your family complains, you’re probably in trouble.

6. Never gamble/bet if you have to borrow because of your gambling/betting, ie never with borrowed money.

7. Never gamble with the money you intend to spend on something else.

8. If you notice that you are gambling to reduce stress, know that you are in trouble.

9. Never use gambling/betting to overcome uncomfortable feelings.

10. Never gamble if you have to neglect or give up social and/or business activities.

11. If you start gambling frequently, take a break.

12. If you feel that you no longer have control over your gambling, contact the appropriate counselling center.

13. Keep control of your behaviour and don’t let your behaviour control you!

If you are a person or know a person who you think has a problem with gambling and you think it is necessary to disable access to the site championbet.ug, please inform us about it via our customer care toll free line and one of our colleagues will help you in the further procedure.

TEST YOURSELF IF YOU HAVE A GAMBLING PROBLEM?

A person who is addicted to gambling spends a lot of time gambling and loses a lot of money in the game. Affects other people badly, weakens or breaks off contacts with friends and family and neglects all other interests and responsibilities, and becomes strongly attached to the circle of people with whom he gambles, feels unable to control his behaviour and often loses self-esteem and develops feelings of concern conscience and sometimes becomes aggressive if he loses a lot of money.

The following test will show you the degree of gambling addiction. Gambling in this sense includes a wide range of different games: all card games, dice games (Yahtzee, etc.), machines (jackpot, slot machines, etc.):

1. Have you been gambling more lately than before?

2. Do you always make excuses with the intention of gambling?

3. Do you continue to gamble even when you lose?

4. Have you ever missed an appointment because of gambling?

5. Have you ever gotten into a conflict over gambling?

6. Are you ashamed to tell others how often you gamble?

7. Do you feel bad when you are not gambling?

8. Do you ever gamble because you need money?

9. Have you ever gambled longer than you planned?

10. Would you gamble with money you got dishonestly?

11. Do you continue to gamble even when you win?

12. Do you ever gamble to forget your problems?

13. Do you ever gamble because you are celebrating something?

14. Do you find it difficult not to gamble for a long time?

15. Do you ever gamble because you are bored?

If you answered positively to 1 to 4 questions you are not endangered, between 5 and 9 positive answers is a group where there is a risk and you have to be careful. But if the number of positive answers is between 10 and 15, you have a problem that you have to solve.
